Well the Lady Vikings just didn't have what it takes to beat Marquette. Michigan City has an outstanding team with some very talented girls. They would be very hard to beat. But one very important thing our BR ladies had that Marquette didn't have was CLASS. I am very proud of how our girls and our fans conducted themselves given the attitudes of the Marquette team and fans. A big thanks to the coaches, Mr Madison and Mr Hawkins for keeping things under control all year. And teaching our athletes what proper behavior is. We had one great season (36-1) and those girls have been so much fun to watch, especially Hillary. She is just an awesome v-ball player and I can't wait to see how she does on the Purdue team next year.
Well now on to basketball season.
